Uthrattathi Mahotsav

Another important offering at the chettikulangara temple is the ‘hundred and one pot pongala’. This ritual is observed on the day of ‘Uttruttathi’ in this month of ‘Makara’. This right to observe ‘hundred and one pot pongala’ lies with the 13 karas respectively. This is observed annually.
