Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention

Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention includes representative from all 13 local land areas or kara's. Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention had its origin from a small group of people who worked for the development of the temple. There were representative only from four major kara's or local land areas. Initially it was not a full-fledged organization. Later, in 1957, this small unit transformed itself into a registered organisation with representative from all the 13 kara's. On May 17, 1957, the organisation was registered under the name Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention.

The organisation has proved its worth during the course of time. All the major celebrations and festivals of the temple are conducted by this organisation. The organisation has such a good record that it often won the admiration of the devaswom and devotees. Every year the Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention is conducting events like Religious Convention, Kumbha Bharani, Kettu Kazhcha, Aswathi Festival etc.. Till now, the organisation has kept a very good record. Purana Parayana-Reading of sacred books is another important ritual observed by the organization for the overall well-being of the temple and the village in total.

Sri Devivilasam Hindu Matha Convention has produced and published cassettes of devotional songs. The organization which is so keen on the development of the temple has contributed greatly in the making of the Anna Dana mandira-where free food is serves for the poor -and comfort station. The temple pond has been reconstructed by the organization. The organization is persuading the Devaswom to carry on developmental activities. Sri Devivilasom Hindu Matha Convention is widely responsible for the development that you now in and around the temple premises.
